Dark Ripples explores and visualizes a single song through my own mind. I listened to Mr. Kitty, 2014, Time “After Dark” repeatedly and let colors, shapes, patterns and textures show themselves to me in my mind. I wrote ideas down as they came into my mind and used my notes to create a sketch for the painting.
